Is the Xpo a sex show?
• The Xpo is not a sex show although it is a strictly
18+ event What if I don't have a credit card or cheque book?
• You do not have to buy advance tickets; they will be
available on the door. I love dressing up but I don't really want to wander around London...
• The location, The Barbican Exhibition Hall, is self
contained and very discrete. On evenings and weekends this
is a very quiet area of London with good parking close to the Hall.
It is centrally located with easy access to all the other events
that go on in London during the London Fetish Weekend. The Barbican Tube is just
5 minutes walk away. Just come out of the station and follow the yellow guide
lines! A map and location/access details can be found HERE. Will my photo be taken/Can I take photographs?
• We do not allow the public to bring cameras to the show or use camera
phones. To protect your privacy, anyone found taking photos who does not have
an official photo pass will have their camera/phone confiscated until they leave
and their media deleted. There are official photographers attending but they
are fully briefed to ensure that no one is photographed without their express
permission. I've never been to anything like this before...
• We provide a very safe environment for newcomers and
are open to all (providing you are over 18). We can provide
one of our helpers to escort you around if you are nervous or are attending on
your own, please ask at registration. We do not allow stag or hen parties at
the event. We will refuse entry to anybody that appears to be under the influence
of alcohol or illegal substances. Is there a dress code?
• There is no dress code at the event; you can wear what
you like. Many people do dress up and this adds to the general
spectacle but the choice is yours. Full nudity is not allowed but you should
be aware that some outfits can be revealing. There are changing facilities at
the venue. What if I see something I'm not comfortable with?
• We have a large contingent of helpers whose job it
is to make sure that the event is pleasant and friendly at
all times. If there is anything at the event that makes you feel
uncomfortable then please bring this to the attention of
the organisers. What kind of exhibitors can I expect to see?
• The Xpo brings together many of the worlds top designers
and suppliers in fetish and club wear. The majority of the
exhibitors are clothing companies selling leather, latex and PVC outfits,
corsets, hosiery and lingerie. Many of the exhibitors offer
bespoke services and cater for all sizes and all sexes. Other exhibitors include
those selling shoes and boots, art, bondage gear, dungeon equipment/furniture,
wigs, jewellery and accessories. The full exhibitor list can be found HERE. Are cards accepted at the show, or do I have to bring cash?
• Many of our exhibitors are small businesses and cannot
take credit cards. It is a good idea to either make sure you
have enough cash or bring a cheque book with you. There is a NatWest bank next
to The Barbican tube station.
